V.P. Sathyan Memorial Trophy

The 5th V.P. Sathyan Memorial Tournament brought clubs, families, and supporters together in Elkridge, Maryland, for a competitive weekend that celebrated soccer, community, and the enduring legacy of V.P. Sathyan. FCC Dallas showed resilience throughout the tournament. After an early 1-0 group-stage defeat to Houston Strikers, Dallas responded with a 2-1 victory over Houston United before advancing past MFC California in a dramatic 4-3 quarterfinal penalty shootout. Their run continued through the semifinal and culminated with victory in the championship match. Philadelphia Arsenal F.C. also delivered an impressive tournament, recording a 1-0 group-stage victory over Baltimore Khiladiz and defeating Houston Strikers 2-1 in the quarterfinal before progressing through the semifinal. Their performance earned a well-deserved place in the final and recognition as the 2026 runner-up.
